Morrison takes on Jamaica job

DEWSBURY boss Glenn Morrison has  taken on the role of senior team manager for the UK-based Jamaican national RL side.

The ‘Reggae Warriors’ are due to play Ireland in an international in October, and Morrison is hoping to put together a strong squad ahead of next year’s World Cup.

Rams forward Joel Farrell is a key part of the Jamaica squad and Morrison said: “We want to raise the profile and rankings of the national side in Jamaica as we work towards the next World Cup.

"There are some quality players and we would like to be in a position where some of their players can come over here and earn professional contracts.”
