DEWSBURY swimmer Charlotte Robinson has become Great Britain’s fourth fastest 13-year-old ever in the 200m butterfly.
The promising youngster, who has her sights set on competing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, produced her personal best time in a bronze medal-winning performance at the British Summer National Championships held at Sheffield Ponds Forge back in July.
And less than two weeks later the St John Fisher student also competed in the ASA English Summer Nationals.
Charlotte competed in eight events in total during the hectic 12-day period at the two meetings, and her bronze medal-winning performance in the 200m butterfly put her second in the ASA GB rankings for her age group.
Charlotte, who trains 20 hours a week, learned to swim aged just six and now seven years on is focusing her efforts on competing at next year’s British Championships in April.
