OSSETT ALBION have signed former captain Stef Holt who arrives back at Dimple Wells having spent two years at Northern Counties East League Premier Division side Shaw Lane Aquaforce.
Holt won the league title with Lane as well as being an instrumental figure in their FA Vase run which saw them reach the last eight in the 2014/15 season.
Injury hampered Holt’s 2015/16 campaign but he hopes to rediscover his old form under the guidance of Albion boss Richard Tracey.
Also signing for Albion are goalkeeper Jordan Bradshaw and Talent Ndlovu.
Bradshaw joins the Golds with bags of experience having played for Sheffield United and Doncaster at youth level, before going onto to play for Frickley and Winterton. Ndlovu arrives from Guiseley.
Tracey was also boosted by the news that captain Danny South and prolific goal scorer Rob Bordman have committed their futures to the club.
Albion’s pre-season gets underway in less than a month with squad matches against Pontefract A (July 9) before games with Hemsworth Miners Welfare A (July 14), Sheffield A (July 15) and Parkgate A (July 19).
First team warm-up matches start with three home fixtures against Shaw Lane (August 4), Stocksbridge Park Steels (August 6) and Sheffield United Under-21s (August 10).
