Highprofile bout secured for Mark

DEWSBURY MOOR cage fighter Mark Aldridge has secured an important bout in a major MMA event next month.
Having trained in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) since 2002, the Beckett Crescentbased fighter became the semipro Impact Featherweight British Champion in November 2007 and is now finding his feet in the fully pro ranks.
He’ll take on James Lutman in the Kudegra Meltdown tournament at the Hull Ice Arena on October 9, a fight which he believes could launch him into the big time of the MMA circuit.
All the fights have been hand picked by UFC veteran and cage fighting Pioneer Ian ‘The Machine’ Freeman and there’s a major prize fund on offer.
Mark trains at Neil Hall’s Martial Arts Gym on Sharpe Street in central Dewsbury, where a new professional fight team has been established under the ‘Team Allegiance’ name. Tickets for the event are available by visiting www.kudegra.com.
