DEWSBURY MOOR bounced back from a tough couple of weeks to run out easy 58-12 winners over Castleford Panthers in National Conference League Division Three.
The Maroons were led by George Croisdale, who bagged himself four tries in a man-of-the-match performance.
It wasn’t as easy as the final score suggests, however, as Moor only led 18-12 at the break with the Panthers points coming from tries by John Brummitt and Carl Burke plus two Ben Brailsford conversions.
Bartley O’Brien, later sin-binned as were Brummitt and Burke, crossed for Moor in the first half as did Ashley Boddy, Croisdale and Jordan Foster with one James Eatherley goal.
But then it was one-way traffic in the second period as Croisdale completed his quartet and Eatherley landed a hat-trick.
Bobby Canavan added the other Moor try as Ady Moore landed four goals.
The win leapfrogs Moor up to fourth in Division Three and the Carr Lane outfit look to build on this win when they face Gateshead Storm next (Saturday June 25, 2.30pm).
