Dewsbury's clash of the coaches

Dewsbury boss Warren Jowitt will clash with former Rams coach Andy Kelly when France play Ireland in Avignon tomorrow (Sat).
Jowitt returns to Dewsbury on October 24 but is currently the assistant coach of the French national team for the duration of their Alitalia European Cup campaign.
Former Rams player of the year Liam Finn, now with Featherstone, and current Dewsbury back Matthew Fox are also in Andy Kelly’s Irish squad, together with Batley prop Sean Hesketh.
Jowitt was drafted in for a month by former Wakefield teammate Bobbie Goulding, who is the French head coach.
“It has been really good,” said Jowitt. “We’ve basically been fulltime since I got out here and I’m really enjoying it.”
The Rams boss also believes Dewsbury will benefit from him working alongside Goulding.
He said: “He has a vast amount of experience and with me being a forward I can learn a lot from him on the offensive side of things.
“I have already picked up quite a few things and that’s going to be good for us next year.
“I have picked up quite a bit of French – left, right, forwards, backwards, tackle, playtheball etc, so I am not doing too badly.”
Jowitt is also looking forward to seeing how centre Matthew Fox performs for Ireland.
“It’s good for Dewsbury to have an international in the side and it’ll be a good experience for him,” he said.
“He is only young but he is going to be a good player.
“I have also spoken to a few of the emerging French players about coming over to Dewsbury, but we’ll have to see what happens.”
