College step up Rams deal to produce matchday programme

DEWSBURY RAMS and Kirklees College have renewed their partnership for the 2012 season.
The local enterprise has made excellent progress since it originally started in 2011, with opportunities for student involvement at the club and for Dewsbury Rams at the college.
This year, as part of the agreement, the Rams are to allow the college’s students to design and print the club’s programme.
This latest development will enable the Rams to have a fullcolour programme on sale at home games, in a bid to enhance sponsorship opportunities.
The first edition of the newlook programme will be available for £2 this Sunday when Dewsbury entertain Halifax in the Northern Rail Cup.
Rams chairman Mark Sawyer said: “We would like to thank Kirklees College for the support they have given us with the production.
“It’s important that we portray a professional and vibrant outlook and we think that the publication will do  that.”
Kirklees College principal Peter McCann added: “We are delighted to be the official education and training partner of Dewsbury Rams for a second year running.
“The partnership has already given our students a number of opportunities to get involved and there are more projects in the pipeline.
“We have a very professional design team within the college and producing the Rams’ matchday magazine will allow us to help a key community partner whilst raising awareness of what we have on offer at the college.”
