TWO Spen Valley youngsters were chosen to sing solo in a major musical production at Bradford’s Alhambra Theatre this week.
Phoebe Roberts, of Liversedge, and Alexa Tyers, Cleckheaton, both 10, both starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Evita.
The pair, who were to sing ‘Santa Evita’, were among 24 children – pictured – from the Heckmondwikebased Stuart Stage School who were appearing in the show.
Evita, which tells the reallife story of inspirational Argentine leader Eva Peron, is on at the Alhambra until tomorrow (Saturday).
