TWO Yorkshire Bank branches are to be axed over the summer following a review.
The Batley branch on Commercial Street closes on Wednesday July 13 while the one on Market Place in Heckmondwike goes on Monday August 1.
Accounts at Batley will be automatically transferred to Dewsbury while those at Heckmondwike switch to Cleckheaton.
Details of redundancies were not disclosed, but the Batley and Heckmondwike branches employ eight and seven full and part-time staff respectively.
Bank bosses said the moves were down to the "changing needs of customers".
