A man has been charged with public order offences after admitting to leaving indecent images around Oakwell Hall Country Park.
Police patrols were stepped up when visitors reported finding pictures of a man’s genitals on a gate and a condom in the children’s playground.
A ripped pair of knickers were also found up a tree while other indecent images were seen floating around the park attached to balloons. A suspect admitted the offences on June 12. He was fined £80 and referred to the Kirklees AntiSocial Behaviour Unit.
PC Steve Pearson, of the Batley’s neighbourhood policing team, said: “We would like to thank the public for bringing this to our attention.”
