Man arrested over Warsi egg pelting

A man has been arrested over an egg attack on Dewsbury peer Baroness Warsi.

The Tory politician, shadow minister for community cohesion, was on walkabout in Luton, Bedfordshire, last month when she was struck on the head by an egg.

Baroness Warsi was confronted by angry extremists who claimed she wasnt a proper Muslim.

Police said a man aged 24 has been arrested for alleged public order and criminal damage offences and was bailed pending further inquiries.
