Fox's future is saved

Fox’s Biscuits factory has been saved from closure by the new owners of its parent group. Fox’s is staying put at their Wellington Street headquarters thanks to the 2 Sisters Food Group.
Company chief Ranjit Boparan led a £342m takeover of Fox’s parent firm Northern Foods earlier this year.
They have shelved plans move Batley’s operations to a ‘super factory’ elsewhere in West Yorkshire or in the Midlands. Investment in new equipment, plus up to 200 recent job losses, mean 1,000 other posts at Batley have been secured.
Fox’s managing director Graham Hunter said: “Fox’s has a new owner who believes in our business and is excited about future growth prospects.”
