Fake victim helps rob Batley driver

A MOTORIST was robbed in Batley last Monday after a woman walked out in front of his car.
The victim, 47, was driving along Healey Lane in a silver Peugeot 308 at around 2.30pm when the woman stepped into the road and fell over.
It is thought she deliberately walked in front of the vehicle in order to stop him.
The driver checked she was okay and was offering her a cigarette when a second suspect pounced on him.
He was pinned to the vehicle and had his pockets searched.
His wallet was stolen and then the pair fled together towards High Street.
The attacker was described as a stocky man who was wearing dark clothing.
The woman is white, 5ft 4in to 5ft 6in tall, mid to late 20s, slim and had shoulderlength lightcoloured hair.
She was wearing a light coloured Tshirt, threequarter length trousers and white shoes.
Witnesses can call DC Mick Cummings at Huddersfield CID on 01484 436665.
