A PAEDOPHILE from Liversedge made films of children playing in the street near his home, a court heard.
The disturbing revelations came after police tracked down Ian Davison, 60, via details he left on a child porn website.
Davison, of Union Road, admitted 23 charges of making and taking indecent images when he appeared at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court.
Linda Fowler, prosecuting, said more than 21,500 sick photographs were found on Davison’s computer.
There were also 350 films of children, some of which were recorded by Davison himself from the street.
Mrs Fowler said: “His computers were seized and he admitted downloading indecent images of children.
“He said he had been looking at adult pornography and then started to look at indecent child images.”
She added: “A number of images of children have been filmed from the street by this defendant.”
Davison is to be sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on August 15. He was granted unconditional bail.
