Couple held at knifepoint by raiders in their home

A COUPLE were threatened by thugs at knifepoint in their own home.

The pair were woken up just after midnight on Wednesday, December 6, when three men broke into their house on Howley Mill Lane, Batley.

Police have only just released details of the incident.

The gang threatened the victims with knives, forcing them to sit on the bed whilst searching though the house. 

They made off with mobile phones, jewellery and keys to the victims’ vehicle, fleeing the scene in the white Audi convertible, registration RP04 DAN.

Police have released CCTV images and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the three suspects at the time of the robbery.

Two vehicles are believed to have been in the vicinity of the property and surrounding roads in the time before the incident.

They are thought to be a small white-coloured van and a small dark-coloured car.
