Store opening brings 13 jobs

RETAILER Screwfix has created 13 jobs in Dewsbury with the opening of a new store.

Based on Wilton Street, it is open Monday to Friday 7am-8pm, Saturday 8am-6pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.

It is the national DIY chain’s 305th store. The 300th was opened at the Birstall Retail Park last October. Dewsbury store manager Tony Crookes said: “This is our first store in the town and we’re proud to have created 13 jobs.”
