Salon hits Gale force

HECKMONDWIKE hairdressing salon Revive is bucking the current economic climate by expanding its team.

Michael Gale has joined the hairdressing team at the Croft Street salon as art director, taking over the daytoday running of the business.

A stylist with extensive experience, Michael has worked both in a salon environment and on projects in TV, music, and film working on Harry Potter, Coronation Street and touring with Tina Turner, Take That, the Spice Girls and New Kids On The Block.

The new art director worked for Toni and Guy for 22 years and still has links with them, running assessments for their stylists.

Michael is also looking at possibly expanding into training staff from other salons and introducing a full wig service.

“With Michael’s addition to the team we feel that we can now offer talents normally found in London at our salon, but not at London prices,” said Revive manager Hilary Patel.

“Feedback has been great on cuts Michael has done for clients and we are very positive about the future.”

The Revive complex is based in Croft Street, Heckmondwike and includes hairdressing, day spa and The Gallery bistro.
