Igniting a new image venture

A NEW photography business is hoping to create a real spark in Cleckheaton.
Ignite, based at Woodroyd Mills off Westcliffe Road, is a new onestop shop where clients can have portraits and portfolios created and printed, but with a bit of a twist.
Ignite also has an inhouse hair and beauty salon and nail bar, where clients can get a glamorous makeover or beauty treatments before they step in front of the camera.
The business is the brainchild of Cleckheaton man Richard Greenwood, 42, who has spent months finding the right venue and converting it into a photographic business with a difference.
Customers can bring their own props and outfits if they wish and changing rooms are provided.
A team of six people will be on hand to guide people through the fun process of the photoshoot, with plenty of options available for taking their images away with them.
Full portfolios can be put together on site and images can be printed onto a variety of different media, including canvases and mouse mats, as well as more conventional photo sizes.
Other photographic and printing services are also on offer at Ignite, including photo retouching and largescale reproduction.
Founder Richard Greenwood said: “It’s taken a lot of hard work but we’ve created a really special venue.
“The service we provide is ideal for parties and groups of friends – we do everything under one roof.
“I have to thank our new photographer Scotty and my brother Mick Greenwood for all their efforts in helping to open Ignite.
“It’s a bit of a family affair too as my sister is also working on the beauty side of the business.”
Situated next to the popular Tumbles playgym, Ignite is open seven days a week, from 10am to 8pm.
The full facilities will be completed by the end of October and the venture’s website, www.ignite       studios.co.uk, went live this week.
