Decade of success for web firm

Birstall-based website development and marketing agency Ascensor celebrated their 10-year anniversary with a party last week.

Founded in November 2007 by Andrew Firth, the firm has gone from strength to strength and has celebrated another year of growth.

With more than 600 creative agencies in the Leeds City Region alone, the Yorkshire creative sector is flourishing and competition is fierce.

This makes Ascensor’s milestone even more impressive as they have grown organically through new client acquisition and retention, and continue to grow in a crowded marketplace.

The agency now boasts several PLC clients in the financial services, healthcare and manufacturing sectors, as well as international clients.

The Press has worked with Ascensor for many years, and the firm designed and hosts our website thepressnews.co.uk.

Their Ascensor Air product enables start-ups and small businesses to own a professional website that they can manage, without large investment.

“By supporting small businesses with affordable website solutions, they have more money to invest in our digital marketing services that are essential to the success of the website” said Andrew.

“Businesses that don’t invest in their digital marketing rarely reap the rewards that the internet can bring their business.”

Ascensor are celebrating their 10 years with 10 challenges that include mud runs, a team cycle and ending next year with the national three peaks. They have set a target of raising more than £10,000 for various charities close to the team’s heart.

Ascensor celebrated their 10 years with a party at their offices on Oakwell Industrial Park, Birstall, last Friday.

“We welcomed clients and contributors over for a few drinks to celebrate with us,” added Andrew.

“Most of our work comes from referrals and recommendations, we pride ourselves on great quality and customer services and it was lovely to spend the afternoon with many of the people that have helped us to get this far, here’s to the next 10!”
