Katie Price, though, is less than happy as she is doing a similar show for Living. Kate Thornton was axed as part of a Loose Women shakeup and she is less than happy, according to friends. I heard she said: “I think I am valuable as a host and my role is that of a mediator, but also it depends on the guests we have as to what our ratings are like.”


Last Of The Summer Wine was axed by the BBC because it was “past it”, but it’s roaring in the ratings as repeats on the Yesterday channel. Insiders at the BBC think they could have been too hasty in ditching the show...


Peter Andre’s bid to land a new chart hit hit the buffers even though he went on the QVC shopping channel to promote it. His song limped into the charts at a dismal number 48 but everbouncy Pete assures fans: “There will be more music in the future.”
