The company was formed in 2006 by four experienced and entrepreneurial soil and waste recycling experts who were keen to develop their ideas and take the recycling of industry and utility by-products to the ‘next level’ using innovative smart solutions.

Following a very successful five years trading as 4Recycling Ltd, the four original directors of the business created the 4R Group in 2011 to develop their individual unique strengths in waste recycling, environmental consultancy and legislative compliance, principally for the agricultural, land restoration and horticultural sectors. 

4R Group’s philosophy is one of encouraging and promoting sustainability whilst endeavouring to recover wastes to help complete important nutrient cycles. Successful recovery of these valuable resources is beneficial to both producers and landowners, but most importantly it diverts essential nutrients and organic matter from landfill, giving it back to our precious soils and ultimately preserving our environment.
