A MAN who was seen in the grounds of a Mirfield church has been missing from home for a month.

Alan Holt, 40, was spotted at St Mary’s Church on Monday October 8 carrying a Lidl or Aldi bag.

Alan may also have been spotted in Woodhead Road, Lower Hopton, on Wednesday October 10.

He has been missing from his Huddersfield home since September 27. It is thought Alan could be sleeping rough.

Alan is 5ft 8in tall and of slim build. He is balding on top, with black hair at the back and sides. 

He also has a tattoo on his left shoulder that reads ‘On Fire’. He could now have an unkempt beard and be of dishevelled appearance.

When spotted in the grounds of St Mary’s Church he was wearing a blue jumper and jeans.

A further sighting was made last Thursday in Wakefield, leading police to believe he could be anywhere in West Yorkshire.
