Mum pays tribute to her tragic son Liam ...

A MUM has paid tribute to a football-mad teenager who was found dead at home.
The Press reported last week how apprentice engineer Liam Love, 18, of Cornfields, Dewsbury Moor, tragically took his own life.
His mum Morag Young, 39, of Batley, said she wanted to tell people what her son was really like.
“He was a big Manchester United fan and loved his football and cricket and was a devoted brother and uncle. He was a typical mum’s son, and very, very close to his family.”
Liam, who lived with his stepdad Jared Windor, was found hanging on the stairs on February 18.
Mr Windor found him having returned from a short trip to Milan.
Mrs Young told how she spent the whole of the Saturday before his death with her son, the eldest of her five children. The other four are all girls.
Mrs Young later texted Liam (pictured right) and that was the last time they were in touch.
“It was such a shock,” said Mrs Young. “Liam was so popular. Everyone is still coming to terms with what happened.”
Liam had one or two personal problems but the reason behind his death is likely to remain a mystery.
Mrs Young said though Liam had been drinking, the coroner said that alcohol had no bearing on what happened.
She wanted people to remember the fun-loving, hard-working Liam who loved his family and his job and who would have completed his apprenticeship with a Heckmondwike firm in June.
“I used to see him every day,” said Mrs Young. “He would always text me the Man U score. He had a season ticket at Old Trafford and that was buried with him.
“Liam also loved cricket. He went with his stepdad to a club in Kendal where he plays and Liam was the scorer.”
There were around 400 people at Liam’s funeral at St John’s Church in Carlinghow.
