A MAN is being hunted by police after he failed to appear in court over the death of a dog in Cleckheaton.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Gary Dennis Marshman, 26, of Buttershaw, Bradford. He is charged with the theft of a dog outside Tesco in Northgate, Cleckheaton.
The dog, a 12-year-old Border Collie called Jess, was found dead two days later in a beck. Marshman also uses the surnames Smith or Gale. Police are asking for the public’s help in tracing him.
