Dozen homes picked out as nuisance neighbours reported to police...

RESIDENTS at 12 homes in Dewsbury Moor were reported by police to Kirklees Council at the start of a crackdown on anti-social behaviour.
Officers talked to people in streets including Knowles Hill Road and School Avenue to find out about any problems they were having with bad neighbours.
The culprits have been reported to Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing and the council’s noise abatement team for problems including loud music and vandalism.
A further 21 homes were reported to environmental health for not disposing of rubbish and large domestic items such as unwanted furniture properly.
And people in another 21 properties are to get free home safety checks.
The summer holiday crackdown started on Monday and similar surveys are to be conducted in Chickenley next week when police turn their attention there.
